Life Coaching vs Therapy

The main difference between life coaching and therapy is the focus of the work. Therapy focuses on mental health and emotional healing, coaching focuses on setting and achieving goals. Therapy looks back at all the things that happened in the past to bring you where you are now, coaching is looking forward.

I love helping people and making people smile. That happiness always warms my heart. Helping people and making them happy is almost the most fulfilling part of my day. I tried the corporate world but it felt so unfulfilling. I knew I needed to focus my time on where my heart told me to go.

When I became a personal trainer the goal was to help people meet their fitness goals. As I grew as a trainer and group fitness instructor, I realized a significant part of one’s journey is mental wellness in addition to physical. As a life coach, I'm able to continue my purpose.
